It is rather wild today but bright. I have had my gardening head on . Trying my hand at making a willow arch. I hadn't realised what hard work that would be. However the flowers in the meadow are swaying happily so all is well. I can hear the pinch bar in use so I better return to my duties. ...

The cooler weather found me back in the gallery tinkering around. When I am a bit discombobulated I find it very soothing to make papers. I paint ,stitch, tear and alter with no end point in mind. However today I have been more focussed and have begun a series of seascape cards...each one a small original. They will be available for sale in due course so drop me a note if you would like something a little bit different. Meanwhile I hope all is well..... ...

I decided today was a good day for some encaustic wax painting. I began experimenting and made an image of the garden...celebrating our Foxgloves before this wind flattens them. This afternoon I have made a series of cards. I have 6 sets of 4 available. They are all originals and celebrate the beauty and colour of the West coast.I enjoyed using both iron and the scribing tool something I haven't done before. The result is some very lively images. ...

I went down to the studio this morning full of good intentions and began fiddling around....tidying up ! I became completely absorbed in messing about with coloured paper and in the end have made 3 pieces of artwork. Quite a bonus for such a wild windy day. These are mounted up and ready to find new homes.... ...
