Just working away in the garden and about 200 Starlings appear for a conclave. What a racket. How marvellous. I am receiving instruction from the Head Gardener about pruning my rose. It all seems very brutal...cutting out winter die back first and then dropping and tying in the growth.Meanwhile cutting back to the bud and not allowing any cross over. I had no idea it was such an art form! ...

How has your Monday been? I have to say my moods have been up and down but I have pressed on with my project. The camera is playing up and the internet keeps crashing but here we are safely through another day so all is well. I was trying to play some uplifting music, nothing inspiring but these lyrics caught my attention...."A song to sing...to help me cope with anything!" A quiet day in the studio has given me chance to start the development of my allotment project. I am enjoying the interplay of tones which suggest a sense of depth. I have been working 3 plates together and think I will settle down and cut some more. Have a peaceful evening....speak again soon.
