Berneray – Triptych Card and Prints

The inspiration for this work came as a result of a delayed ferry crossing home to Lewis from Berneray. I found myself with 4 hours to spare so wandered off down to the beach. It was a stunningly quiet winter’s day, peaceful, fresh and unspoilt, the birds thronged the shoreline and the tide was coming in across pristine sand. The air was filled with the scent of ozone and seaweed. I had a deep need to capture some sense of this and bring it home with me…. This art work is the result of the experience.

The three panels are available individually at a cost of £35 each or £100 for the 3. They measure 210mm x 297mm printed on art quality paper 300gsm.

Hebridean Shoreline Collection

Creativity fuels my life, it is my raison d’etre along with my love of birds. I am without doubt a mixed media artist with an absolute passion for scissors, paper and glue!

The studio is in a constant state of disarray with interesting “that might come in useful” odds and ends on every available surface. I am not tidy.

Here is my new Hebridean Shoreline Collection, two each of four different designs making a total of eight cards. DL size cards complete with envelopes, neatly packaged in their own cardboard folder. £15 and available in my online shop 🙂
